A quid. Seriously.
Look, at this price point you're not really reviewing a luxury product. You're asking a simpler question: does it do what it says? And for Epsom salts, that's a pretty low bar to clear. Magnesium sulphate dissolved in warm water, a bit of eucalyptus to make the bathroom smell like a spa changing room. That's it. No mystery.
I had a bag of something similar on the shelf for months before I actually used it properly. Threw a generous scoop into a hot bath after a particularly grim weekend of moving furniture, and honestly, whether it's placebo or actual muscle recovery, my legs felt less awful the next morning. Can't prove a thing, but I kept using it.
Who this is actually for
This is a solid buy if you already use Epsom salts regularly and just want a cheap, reliable supply. The eucalyptus scent is noticeable without being overpowering, which is a relief. Some cheaper options smell like a swimming pool or nothing at all.
It's less exciting if you're after something therapeutic in a clinical sense. Epsom salts have a devoted following but the science on transdermal magnesium absorption is, let's say, still up for debate. So go in with realistic expectations.
At 450g you're getting maybe three or four decent baths depending on how heavy-handed you are. Not a month's supply, but at this price, grabbing two or three bags makes obvious sense.
One honest reservation
The packaging is basic. Very basic. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're buying it as a gift, maybe dress it up a bit.
