Does anyone actually need to think about hand soap refills?
Probably not. That's sort of the point. You just want something that doesn't dry your hands out, smells inoffensive, and costs next to nothing per pump. Amazon's own-brand refills, showing up under their generic 'by Amazon' label, tick those boxes pretty quietly.
The Milk and Honey variant is the one I'd go for. It's got that faint warm scent that's not too sweet, not too clinical. Reminds me of the kind of soap you'd find at a mate's mum's house, which I mean as a compliment. The Sensitive option is properly unscented, good if you've got kids or anyone with reactive skin knocking about. Anti-Odour is more of a kitchen soap situation, slightly sharper.

If you've already got a nice dispenser on the counter and you're just looking to fill it without paying Molton Brown prices every month, this is spot on. At around £2.14 for a litre, or closer to £1.91 on Subscribe and Save, you're basically paying peanuts.
My honest reservation: the packaging is relentlessly boring and the pump-and-pour spout on the refill pouch is a bit fiddly. Nothing that'd put me off, but worth knowing.
