The kind of chocolate that needs no introduction
Daim bars have been quietly brilliant for decades. That snappy almond toffee centre, the milk chocolate shell, the way it shatters a bit when you bite into it rather than just... yielding. Mate, it's proper satisfying in a way that fancier bars often aren't.
A quid for three is not groundbreaking stuff. It's roughly 33p a bar, which is solid supermarket value. Nothing to write home about on paper. But Daim is the sort of thing you don't buy regularly and then suddenly remember exists, and this is a decent nudge.
Who this is actually for
Honestly, this is a sweet spot for a few types of people. Anyone packing a lunch and tired of the same boring biscuit. Parents doing the school snack run on a budget. Or just someone who fancied something a bit different from the usual Cadbury rotation.
It's probably not for you if you need a large slab of chocolate to feel like you've had a proper treat. Three 28g bars is not a lot. You'll want more after.
One small reservation
The pack size is the only thing that gives me slight pause. 84g total is pretty modest. At a quid it feels fair, but don't expect to be sharing these around the office. There's exactly enough for three small moments, not one big one.
That said, the community heat on this suggests stock moves quick. If you like Daim even a little bit, it's a no-brainer at this price. Grab a few packs while they're about.
