What you're actually getting

Thirty bars. Nestlé classics, the lot of them. KitKat, Aero, Yorkie, Munchies. If you grew up in Britain, this box basically smells like a corner shop in 1997. That's not a complaint, personally I think Munchies are criminally underrated and it's nice to see them turn up somewhere other than the reduced shelf.

The mix is solid enough for a communal setting. Office, family gathering, that slightly awkward situation where you need something for the break room without looking like you've tried too hard. This box does exactly that job.

Honest reservations

No discount on this one, worth being upfront about. You're paying around £14 for 30 bars, which works out to roughly 47p a bar. Not bad, but not a steal either. You can occasionally find similar boxes cheaper around Christmas or on supermarket clearance. The community heat on HotUKDeals is high (1,635 degrees, which is proper warm), so it may sell out before you get there.

Also, if you're a dark chocolate person or buying for someone with specific tastes, this isn't the one. It's milk chocolate all the way, full stop.

Who this is actually for

Honestly, it's for anyone who needs a reliable crowd-pleaser without overthinking it. Birthday office treat, something to stick in the cupboard for guests, a thank-you for a neighbour who watched your cat. All spot on use cases.

Not for the serious chocolate connoisseur. But then, nobody buying a Yorkie is claiming to be one.
